About

I’m currently a junior in high school. I’d consider myself to be an average teenage girl. I love RUNNING!! And also hanging out with my friends, having fun, singing,  dancing, and eating good food. This blog is mostly about running, health, and the things that inspire me to keep taking one more step in the right direction. I am in cross country, track, and show choir. I am a runner. I believe I always will be a runner. When I go out for a run, the stresses of life are forgotten as I tune out everything but the pounding of my feet and the sound of my breath. Running is something that everyone can do if you try. It’s not likely that you can be a runner without some pain once in a while, or even the whole time. But if you put your mind to it, lace up your shoes and head out the door, you can enter the world where you find pleasure, excitement, relief and joy in the midst of the pain. Ready? Set. Go!

Hey there! You remind me a lot of myself as a high schooler! I wanted to tell you that during my whole junior year I ran in the mid-2:30’s for the 800m, and by the time I was a senior I PRed at 2:25. You can absolutely do that too, so just keep working hard and loving the sport. Good luck and stay healthy!
